CAUTION – Door to Door Sales. When a service technician is working in the neighborhood, they often offer to work in your home for a reasonable price. However, be sure to get competitive bids and NEVER pay any vendor for the work in advance. Often a reputable company may ask for upto a 10% deposit but you should never pay more than that. We’ve unfortunately had neighbors victimized, especially by tree service companies.
