Turpin Hills - Cincinnati, Ohio

2015 DUES ARE DUE BY DECEMBER 30.

Unlike many neighborhoods, Turpin does not require membership in the association. All of the residents, however, benefit from the work of the association and historically, almost all have joined. These dues pay for security patrols, landscaping and maintenance at the entry ways, holiday decorations, our distinctive street signs, the directory, newsletters, the neighborhood picnic, and other activities. These costs continue even when collections are down. The neighborhood needs your support

NEW IN 2014, pay your 2015 dues by credit card using Pay Pal.

LOCK YOUR CARS! CLOSE YOUR GARAGE DOORS!

We have had incidents in the last 30 days of people leaving their cars outside, unlocked, and contents being stolen out of them. If you must leave your car outside, be sure to LOCK IT. None of the incidents required forced entry.... an unlocked door is an invitation for mischief. Additionally, the weekend Sheriff's patrol tells us they are still finding open garage doors when they do patrol and that is very unsafe.

DOOR TO DOOR SALES - SERVICE OFFERS
CAUTION - Door to Door Sales. When a service technician is working in the neighborhood, they often offer to work in your home for a reasonable price. However, be sure to get competitive bids and NEVER pay any vendor for the work in advance. Often a reputable company may ask for upto a 10% deposit but you should never pay more than that. We've unfortunately had neighbors victimized, especially by tree service companies.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We have several streets that need a trustee representative. You do not have to live on a street to be its representative. Trustees meet for 2 hrs every 2 months. Other efforts take less than 30 minutess a month and include distributing the quarterly newsletter and welcoming new neighbors after they move-in. It's a great way to get familiar with other families in the nieghborhood. If you are intersted or what to know more, contact Norma Brown at 232-9199 or via e-mail.
